Donation Wish List & Gift Policy

For the past 30 years, FRIENDS has accepted and received a generous amount of donations from the community. As time has passed and as our services and facility have grown, we have had increasing problems with storage space. We have found it a challenge to keep all donated items until they may be needed.

In 1999, the Board of Directors adopted a new donation policy to help ease our limited storage space issues. Friends has formed a partnership with Goodwill Industries, Inc. (located off of Paradise Drive , across from Wal-Mart). Goodwill will provide certificates annually to Friends for client and agency use if the donor states they would like to donate on behalf of Friends of Abused Families. This program is for donations that we can use immediately in our shelter.

There are two lists below. The first is the agency wish list of items that we can store and use daily to run the shelter. The second list is of items that clients may need, and that we will accept if we have confirmed that a client can take it immediately, as we can not store.

We are always looking for volunteers to anonymously adopt families for the holidays through our agency.

WE REGRET WE ARE UNABLE TO PICK UP OR DELIVER DONATED ITEMS.

If you have any questions please call 262.334.5598

Thank you for your generous support.
